Welcome and I’m glad you found your way to visit my fundraising page.
Dream big. It’s my dream to run the Marathon in the city I live. In my first year living in London, I was pregnant and I couldn’t compete with my baby girl inside me. The following year, I didn’t feel ready yet for this long distance after having given birth. Now I’m excited to set myself a new goal and take on this challenge - the biggest since competing in the Ironman Zurich in 2014.
I am very fortunate that I can run wherever and whenever I want and have all these different experience from running and sport in general. Every child, I believe, should have the opportunity to discover the world through movement and activity. While most of us take this for granted, it is a sad reality that not every child has this possibility.
Whizz-Kidz is a UK based charity and provides vital mobility equipment and support to transform the lives of disabled children and young people. I am running the London marathon to raise money for Whizz-Kidz. Your contribution will allow these children the opportunity of a fun and active childhood, and the chance to develop their full potential in life. As a mum and a keen athlete, I know how important this is and absolutely share these values.
Through your donation, you will support Whizz-Kidz and its work, and grant me the opportunity of fulfilling my big dream - running the London marathon. Any amount, small or big, will help.
For those of you interested, you can follow me on my marathon journey on this page, on Instagram (@sportymum_net), and as well on my blog (www.sportymum.net - only in German), which i will update regularly.
Thank you so much,
